  • So speak to us of sex So speak to us of sex

    • From: SoKnow
    • Description:

One of our greatest down falls is sex.  Hands down, we humans simple cannot control ourselves no matter what age.

So, I have a question to pose for a healthy exchange if anyone dares to be involved.

Ladies.  If you have friends or associates that continue to have issues such as unwanted pregnancies, sexually transmitted diseases, and abortions, why do you continue to involve yourself in the same types of activities? It would think that you would learn from the people around you.  Help us understand the reason why you don't change your behavior?

Gentlemen.  If you have already had a situation with 'getting a girl pregnant,' why do you continue to have sex without condoms? Help us understand?  Do you not have the money for condoms?  Are you afraid to buy them?

Tell us your stories, we can help you.

  • A 25 Year Old's Call to Action A 25 Year Old's Call to Action

    • From: jsbrewton
    • Description:

FORWARD THIS TO EVERYONE IN YOUR ADDRESS BOOK, and don't trip, it's not even THAT long so READ THE WHOLE THING!

Wuz up, I am 25 years old, living in the A, and I wanna make a call to action to people in and near my age group (and those who are young at heart)....

I know we're soooo bored with what's out there but (and I know this is hypocritical) we keep going back to it because it's the only thing out there - thrown in our faces all the time! And is it really our fault? We are a generation that's been taught the 'entitlement factor'; this laissez-faire idea that if we just get to a certain status in life everything else will fall in place…not telling us what happens if we don’t get to that place, where exactly that place is, by what age we should be at that place or why the heck we should get to that place at all! So in a zombie-like way we conform; not (seriously) considering that there might be alternatives, not identifying who we are, not questioning 'the norm', and usually lacking the self-esteem necessary to make wise decisions. It's like we've been unknowingly casted in a really bad stage play and commissioned to continuously reenact the script although we don't even know which character we're supposed to play or, for that matter, if we should even be in the play at all!

That said, (sigh) I breathe out a sigh of relief...finally a place online to 'charge up' from the insincere, materialistic expectations. I am completely stoked about this new social site! It's set up a lot like the other popular social sites. I see it as an outlet to express who I really am, stay in touch with friends, and a resource to access empowering information. But, dare I ask, in all honesty and in the same contemplative mindset, will this site stick around? I mean, let's face it, yes, we do need (not only 'want') it but who's gonna carry their individual torch and create a buzz about it? Cause you know that's how these social sites work....high volumes of traffic in and out of the site constantly.

So, I know I'll carry my torch but what I wanna know is - what about you

What are you gonna do to get people to join this free social site? What are your suggestions about the site? What should it add? What should it take off? What would make you keep coming back? Is it user-friendly? What!?!? We gotta keep it around and make it "blow up like the world trade" as one iconic rapper so eloquently put it.

Join for free at www.healmybody.net and let me know the deal at jsbrewton@att.net. There's more info about this NEW and DIFFERENT social site...so browse around the site and also check out www.healglobal.com.

FORWARD THIS TO EVERYONE IN YOUR ADDRESS BOOK!

      Holla!  -Jay

  • Lifetime Achievement Award - A Lifetime Achievement Award - A Warning

    • From: LincolnB
    • Description:

Well I am starting to collect my lifetime achievement awards. My first award: Angioplasty in the category of Heart surgery presented to me by a fine group of doctors at a local Indianapolis hospitals. I have worked my whole life to achieve this prestigious award. I want to thank all the people and companies that helped me achieve this award, including McDonalds, Burger King, Dairy Queen, Hostess, Frito Lay, Hersheys, oh there are too many to name them all and my time is running out. But I have to also thank my couch and especially my TV, for their 'huge' contribution in this achievement. Anyway, let me close by saying this; if you also want to start receiving your own lifetime achievement awards, continue your bad eating habits and don't exercise and I guarantee you too, will be rewarded someday.

  • Leaving Leaving

    • From: Bleeding_Rain
    • Description:

My best friend is leaving and it’s going to be hard to cope
It’s hard trying to be happy while he’s still here
When all I feel like doing most of the time is crying
One of the three lights in my life is leaving
And I’m not sure what to do
      It hurts
      I’m afraid too
I’m afraid I’ll fall apart once he leaves
      I’m afraid I won’t keep my resolve
I’m afraid that my unhappiness that Yuki’s leaving will hurt my Stormy
      I don’t want that
I don’t want him to hurt because of me
I don’t want him to believe that I care for Yuki more than I care for him
I don’t want him to think that
      Cause it’s not true
      I do care for Yuki
I care for him a lot but
      He’s not my Stormy

      It’s tearing me up
      He’s my best friend
I don’t want him to leave
      He just can’t
      The tears come so much
It hurts to think of him gone
Whenever he’s not at school there’s a void
But I always know he’ll be back
Now to think that he won’t be there
      It scares me
Sure I knew that I’d see less of him after I graduated and went to college
But I knew I’d see him when I came back
He still would’ve been only a couple of hours away
      It hurts
I don’t want him to leave

I hate this I hate this I hate this
      I feel so bad
For some reason it feels wrong that I’m so upset
It feels like it’s mean to Stormy
Like I shouldn’t be crying over someone else
      But I can’t stop
I can’t stop and stay healthy
      I’m trying to stay happy
      To stay positive
And make the best of the time left
      But it’s so hard
      I dunno what to do
I don’t wanna bring everyone else’s spirits down with me
But times so short he’ll only be here until the end of the semester
      I’m scared
If I didn’t have my Stormy I think I’d be completely lost

Yoga is a fun and relaxing way to improve your health.

      Health Benefits Within

From lowering blood pressure to increasing pain tolerance, the following health benefits can all be discovered within the body.

      1. Blood pressure. A consistent yoga practice decreases blood pressure through better circulation and oxygenation of the body.
      2. Pulse rate. A slower pulse rate indicates that your heart is strong enough to pump more blood with fewer beats. Regularly practicing yoga provides a lower pulse rate.
      3. Circulation. Yoga improves blood circulation. By transporting nutrients and oxygen throughout your body, yoga practice provides healthier organs, skin, and brain.
      4. Respiratory. Like the circulatory system, a lower respiratory rate indicates that the lungs are working more efficiently. Yoga decreases the respiratory rate through a combination of controlled breathing exercises and better fitness.
      5. Cardiovascular endurance. A combination of lower heart rate and improved oxygenation to the body (both benefits of yoga) results in higher cardiovascular endurance.

      6. Organs. Yoga practice massages internal organs, thus improving the ability of the body to prevent disease. Additionally, an experienced yoga practitioner becomes better attuned to her body to know at first sign if something isn’t functioning properly, thereby allowing for quicker response to head off disease.
      7. Gastrointestinal. Gastrointestinal functions have been shown to improve in both men and women who practice yoga.
      8. Immunity. Yoga practice has frequently been correlated with a stronger immune system.
      9. Pain. Pain tolerance is much higher among those who practice yoga regularly. In addition to pain tolerance, some instances of chronic pain, such as back pain, are lessened or eliminated through yoga.
      10. Metabolism. Having a balanced metabolism results in maintaining a healthy weight and controlling hunger. Consistent yoga practice helps find the balance and creates a more efficient metabolism.

  • Choosing The Right Swimwear Fo Choosing The Right Swimwear For Your Body

    • From: jenniferadams1985
    • Description:

Every weekend the shops are full of women buying the latest accessories to make sure they look great, whether this means buying new shoes to strut about in town or a whole new outfit to wow their friends.

Whether heading to a foreign beach on holidays, on a honeymoon or just heading to your local pool, buying swimwear is one of the trickiest purchases a girl has to make but instead of going for the latest 'in thing', simply buying for your body type makes things much easier – and is likely to have the best end results. Look to maximise your good points and hide away the parts you're less confident about and you can step out in your swimwear with a smile.

One of the main areas of concern when buying swimwear is the bust. If you have a small bust, look for bikinis that are underwired and, if you want a helping hand, look for padded tops. If you're happy to show off a bit of flesh, look for a bandeau or strapless bikini or go for the classic triangle look. For girls with large busts, go for the support offered by a halterneck bikini. If you wish to draw attention away from this area look for swimwear with detailing on the bottom half, perhaps by adding a sarong or beach skirt to the outfit.

Another typical problem areas is the hips. If you have small hips, think about bikini briefs with a high cut leg or, if you're looking to create a curvier shape, go for hipsters. Really stand out by going for contrasting bright colours and by not plumping for solid, block colours. If you have large hips – or you want to draw attention away from this region – choose plain dark bottoms and match them with a bright, eye-catching top.

Hipsters can also be beneficial for those with long bodies who want to reduce this effect, and skirts will also help here. Low necklines will also reduce your body length. Conversely, shorter girls may wish to wear high cut briefs to accentuate their legs.

If you want to hide away your stomach, a one piece swimsuit may be the best option. The way they're created helps to hold in your tummy and if you want to keep eyes away form this area then go for swimwear with detailing on the top and bottom – but with a plain middle.

Once you've got the perfect swimming costume make sure to get out to the pool or onto the beach and enjoy yourself.

  • Getting A Bikini Body - My Adv Getting A Bikini Body - My Advice

    • From: jenniferadams1985
    • Description:

Every summer the pages of women's magazines fill up with features telling us how to get the prefect bikini body in time for our holidays. If it was as easy as they all make out then surely we'd all look great on a beach and wouldn't need all these how-to guides, so what is the best way to get the perfect beach body?

The best way to do it, health-wise, is to keep fit and active all year round whilst sticking to a sensible diet. However, experience tells us that this isn't the easiest of tasks and work, social activities and other obligations often get in the way of the arguably more important tasks in life.

Although you can take it for granted that the models used in the magazine pieces have a very strict diet and exercise regime, with a genuine will to lose weight you can easily achieve your target too.

First, work out how long you have to meet your target weight. In a diary or calendar, mark out points along the way where you will have smaller goals. By breaking down your weight loss programme into smaller sectors makes it easier to achieve and gives you motivation to keep going. This strategy is used in many other areas of life – such as business and sales – as it helps keep a positive state of mind, something that is vital when you're trying to lose weight.

The first thing to look at is your diet. Some fads tell you to starve yourself but this is more harmful than helpful and any weight you do lose is likely to be water weight and quick to return. Instead make sensible cutbacks. Remove the snacks from your diet and stop eating foods – the chips, pizzas and burgers in your diet – that you know are bad for you. One easy way to do this is to empty your cupboards and freezers of this kind of food to remove the temptation to munch on them. Use it as a time to experiment with your cooking and try a new vegetable or two.

As well as watching what you eat, you'll need to take up some form of exercise. The 'e' word strikes fear into many people but it's easy to make it fun. If there's a sport you enjoy, make the effort to join a class or get playing regularly with a friend. You can always take up new classes – in dancing, for example – or if you want to shed serious pounds think about joining a gym class such as spinning. If you go to a gym you can also think about using the other facilities they offer and many will let you speak to a trainer who will be able to give you a personalised workout.

To make sure you look good in bikinis this year, keep well hydrated (try cutting out drinks like coffee and alcohol) by drinking water instead. This will not only help you lose weight but will also improve your skin's complexion, meaning you'll look even better in those holiday snaps, for a special event or even for your wedding day.

    • From: cheapgadgetguide88
    • Description:

weightloss.jpgThe Author spent most of her childhood and young adult years struggling with her health. She battled severe allergies, asthma, spastic colon and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) for as long as she could remember. She grew up sickly, weak and defeated. She was told not to over exert myself, take my medicines regularly and make the best of it.

At times She wasn’t allowed to play outside, for fear of her allergies and asthma “getting stirred up”. Needless to say, sports were out of the question. During her high school and college years she was in and out of the emergency room with complications from a spastic colon, irritable bowel syndrome and poor diet.

She married her high school sweetheart Barry (a musician) when she was 20 and the roller coaster began. They moved from their small town of Evansville, Indiana to Dallas, Texas. Three years later they moved to Los Angeles. Let us spare you the “Jerry Springer details” but all that life on the road took its toll.

She had been the “skinny girl” all through High School, mainly because like a lot of teenagers – She just didn’t eat much.

So of course when Barry and her got married she didn’t have a clue how to prepare food. She just did what a lot of young newlywed women do – She went to the grocery store and bought anything that looked good and was easy to cook!

The married life has taken too much toll on her health and psychologically impaired her confidence. She became someone forgotten about the past, used to be skinny, now 50++ pounds!

It wasn’t easy and she had to crawl before she could walk - BUT SHE DID IT! The girl who couldn’t even run in gym class or do a single pull-up was jogging daily and lifting weights. She couldn’t believe how her body was transforming before her eyes. She went from being the newly frumpy, sickly girl…to a fit, new improved version of her.

The thing that amazed her the most was that her allergies even improved, anyone suffers from them knows how big of a statement that is! She took control of her health, which eventually helped her focus more on her marriage (now 15 years and stronger than ever), dive deeper in her faith, gain self-confidence and reach true happiness.

And she can proudly say that shenever succumbed to any of those slick ads weightloss-diet products. Never once have she used a prescription or non-prescription diet pill!

She went on to become a Nationally Certified Personal Trainer, Fitness Instructor and Lifestyle & Weight Management Consultant.

    • Description:

If you want to make money through blogging, creating a popular blog is the key to success. If your blog receives very little traffic, you will not have much success monetizing it. No matter which method you use to make money from your blog, you will find the most success if you have a large readership. Because of this, making your blog popular and growing readership should be one of your primary concerns.

my ebooks placeThere are many ways to make your blog more popular. The first thing you should consider is who your audience is and who you are writing for. You should always write about something that interests you, and that will interest others. You may think that your new kitten is the greatest thing since sliced bread, but there are probably not very many other people who want to read a blog about it. It is best to find a niche audience that is large enough to support a wide readership but not to vague.

One of the great things about blogging is that you do not have to be a professional writer to have a popular blog. You do have to obey common grammatical rules and at least be able to put together coherent sentences, but you do not have to be a highly skilled writer.
Blog readers are looking for interesting, relevant topics to read, not the next work of Shakespeare. Make sure what you write is interesting, edgy, or even controversial. Popular blogs are never boring and add value to reader’s lives either through information or entertainment. Make sure your blog adds something of value to your reader’s life otherwise you will not develop a large fan base.

Making your blog popular is a lot like driving traffic to a website. You can use many of the same techniques to drive traffic to your blog. Finding places to link back to your blog is a good way to drive traffic. Social sites such as Myspace, Facebook, and You tube provide lots of opportunities for this. You can also use social book marking sites such as Reddit, StumbleUpon, and Digg to promote your blog. Blogging on a popular blog site such as Wordpress and Blogger are also good ways to make your blog more popular as these blogging sites help to bring in traffic for your blog.

  • Sell Timeshare Fast – A Quick Sell Timeshare Fast – A Quick Way to Sell Your Timeshare

    • From: cheapgadgetguide88
    • Description:

If you are impatient to sell your timeshare, then you are not alone. Maybe it’s just the perfect time to sell your timeshare. Whatever the story, most people prefer a quick sale when it comes to selling their timeshares. With this goal in mind to sell timeshare fast, here are a few things that can help in making that sale.

Ensure you advertise your timeshare at a realistic price:

The majority of the time, the return on timeshares is poor, with a few exceptions. Most likely, your timeshare would only sell for about 30% to 50% of the price you paid for it. This could include looking at current and completed eBay auctions, asking your resort about recent sale prices and even checking real estate records of the area the resort is in. By setting your price at the right level, you will be sure to make a sale.

Provide your potential buyers with prompt and accurate information. If you ‘accidentally’ give them wrong information e.g. about the annual maintenance fee or even the view from your unit, you are likely to lose your buyer as they’ll see you as someone who cannot be trusted.

Do not pay up-front fees to companies claiming to be able to help:

Some companies profess to be able to give you market analysis fees and make all sorts of promises to their clients, for a fee of course. Even if they claim it is refundable, it is unlikely that they will be in any hurry to return your money to you even if they do not hold up their end of the bargain.

A good source of appraising your timeshare is here, please visit this site. Its has no obligation consultation, besides its free to evaluate.  Give it a try.

  • Keeping in Shape at Winter: To Keeping in Shape at Winter: Top Tips For Staying Healthy

    • From: jenniferadams1985
    • Description:

As summer draws to a close and winter draws closer, it can be easy to look forward to a few months of being tucked away inside, warm and away from the cold outdoors. And while this is still possible, it's important to keep an eye on your health at the same time.

With shorter days and colder weather, it's easy to neglect the importance of taking exercise during the winter. Ironically, this is one of the major times of the year when your body needs to be in top condition. With the change in seasons, your body can easily become prone to colds and flues, so having the physical strength to battle these off is important.

If going outside for a jog in the mornings or evenings is too much for you, why not consider joining a gym? Although gyms have the image of containing body worshippers and steroid-loving weight lifters, this isn't the case with most gyms. In fact most gyms or leisure clubs simply contain other people just like yourself who are looking to keep trim.

Of course staying healthy isn't just about taking exercise, although this is very important. The food you eat plays an important role in how healthy you are. While cutting out certain foods is always seen as the most important part of staying fit, when it comes to keeping winter colds at bay it's more about what you eat rather than what you don't eat.

For example, foods with a high content of vitamin c are particularly important during the winter months. Vitamin C is essential for keeping you healthy, boosting your immune system and allowing you to keep healthy and fight off colds.

With the increased focus on keeping fit and healthy, winter proves an ideal time to look at your long term health. A checkup with your doctor, a blood test or perhaps speaking to a health or life insurance company are all ways in which you can do this.

So rather than just snuggling up by the fire this winter, take the opportunity to keep your health in shape. Just half an hour a day could make all the difference and there will still be plenty of time left to snuggle up by the fire.
